  1. I love this article and Tom’s recognition. We, in the Catskill Mts. Chapter in NY, are very proud of all Tom’s accomplishments throughout his TU life. Tom was a very influential and dedicated member of our chapter and is a Life Time Board Member of his original chapter. Well deserving of this award from his peers in the White River Chapter. From all of us in Kingston, NY, congratulations.

  2. Thank you for the Volunteer of The Year recognition. It is good to be involved with an active TU Chapter that cares deeply about its coldwater resources. I think we will develop additional projects with the need for more volunteers. Let it be known what your talents are or how you would like to be involved and one of the officers / directors can point you in the right direction.

  3. It was a great success, and it is our members and sponsers we have to thank. Tom Emerick’s efforts at gathering donations from local business was a huge part. The fact that our members “dug deep” into their pockets to support this chapter is instrumental in keeping our efforts going.

I want to thank the entire board for their many hours of preparation for this event, everyone did his or her part in making this the most successful fundraiser to date.

Now, we have the task of coming up with new projects to work on,to go along with the ongoing projects, so I will be asking members at our next general meeting what they think would be a good idea, to protect and conserve our great fisheries. We are always looking for good ideas.
